Ready to experience a sold-out concert from the comfort of your home? It’s always awesome when a show from one of our favorite performers is taped, and then released by a streamer. And that’s exactly the case with The Weeknd: Live at Sofi Stadium!

The musical special will feature the singer’s 95-minute show in Los Angeles, which was filmed in 2022 and focuses on his “After Hours” and “Dawn FM” albums. The jump from city to city was appropriately called the After Hours Til Dawn Tour.

The concert will air on HBO on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 at 8 p.m. ET, as well as be available to stream on HBO Max at the same time. While we know where to watch the production, is it available to see without paying? We’ve got the answer for you below!

Can you stream The Weeknd concert free on HBO Max?

If you’re hoping to see The Weeknd: Live at Sofi Stadium completely for free, then I’m sorry to say that’s not a possibility. The show is “free” in terms of that it’s included in your HBO Max subscription. However if you aren’t paying for a plan on the streamer, then you’ll need to sign up to watch the performance. HBO Max runs for $9.99/month with ads or $15.99/month with no ads.

This isn’t the Canadian performer’s first project with the company. The Weeknd is set to star opposite Lily-Rose Depp in a new six-episode series, The Idol. The HBO show focuses on a self-help guru and modern-day cult leader (The Weeknd) and his complicated relationship with an up-and-coming pop idol (Depp). The drama is expected to release later this year, per Variety.
