Cocaine Bear is now playing in theaters and it is a wild, stupid fun ride you are not going to want to miss this weekend. From the crazy events to the soundtrack, the Elizabeth Banks-directed movie is a good time! In this post, we’ll be focusing on the latter, the Cocaine Bear movie soundtrack. Want to know which songs play in the movie so you can add them to your playlist? We’ve got your back!

Based on real eventsCocaine Bear follows a bear who accidentally overdosed on cocaine after drug smugglers dropped a duffel bag over northern Georgia. The true story was not nearly as deadly as the movie paints it. In reality, the 175-pound bear was found dead three months after, and the cause of death was a heavy cocaine overdose. The unfortunate bear did not go on a murder rampage of any sorts.

Still, it’s an incredible story. The body of the bear is displayed at the Kentucky for Kentucky Fun Mall in Lexington. Universal Pictures took this story and made it its own. Cocaine Bear is rated R for strong bloody violence and gore, among other things. Now, on to the music!
