Neo-noir fantasy series Carnival Row has captured our attention since the show made its debut in August 2019 on Prime Video. Now the second season is here, and I’m sure you fans of the series are eager to keep up. When do new episodes come out?

The fantasy, created by Travis Beacham and René Echevarria, stars Orlando Bloom as Rycroft “Philo” Philostrate, Cara Delevingne as Vignette Stonemoss, Simon McBurney as Runyan Millworthy, amzin Merchant as Imogen Spurnrose, David Gyasi as Agreus Astrayon, Andrew Gower as Ezra Spurnrose, among others.

The sophomore season hasn’t been releasing episodes on the same schedule as season 1. So this may have caused some confusion for some of you. Not to worry, we’ve got your backs!

When do new episodes of Carnival Row season 2 come out?

Carnival Row season 2 released two episodes on premiere day. Going forward that pattern will continue as two new installments will drop each week on Prime Video until the finale. The last episode, which also serves as the series finale, is scheduled for Friday, March 17, 2023.

This is different from the inaugural season as when the show first made its debut, all the episodes were released at once, making it a binge-watch. Season 2 also has two more installments compared to season 1, so more episodes! We provided a breakdown of the Carnival Row season 2 episode release schedule below:

Season 2 picks up following the events of the first season where former inspector Rycroft Philostrate (Bloom) continues to investigate a number of “gruesome murders” which is causing social tension, per the synopsis. The next chapter of the show sees humans and fae folk divided and fighting for their freedom. We can’t wait to see how the series decides to wrap up the story!
