Who is ready to go 12 rounds with work so that they can go 12 rounds in the theaters with Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors? I know I am. Below, we share the best new weekend movies to watch in theaters and available on streaming services that you won’t want to miss.

While I know all of you are still reeling from the final four episodes of Perfect Match, we have got plenty of new things for you to watch this weekend. From a boxer coming out of retirement to fight a friend to a romantic comedy that will make us smile to the anime fans getting some love, everyone has something to watch this weekend.

Weekend movies to watch (and stream) today

  • Creed III – In Theaters
  • Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village, In Theaters
  • Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre, In Theaters
  • Love at First Kiss, Netflix
  • Chris Rock: Selective Outrage, Netflix

I am a massive fan of Rocky, and when Creed was announced, I was scared. However, two movies later, Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan knocked it out of the ballpark. Well, I can confirm that Michael B. Jordan is a knockout behind the camera as a director because Creed III is a pitch-perfect banger with some incredible fight sequences and fight montages that we come to expect from this franchise. Pair that with a brilliant performance from Jonathan Majors, I loved this movie.

One of the cooler things that is happening this weekend is that Netflix is doing their first ever live Stand-Up comedy special with Chris Rock: Selective Outrage. I am hoping this opens the door for the streaming giant to do more live specials in the near future, but I think Chris Rock is going to have a lot to say.
