The 96 year old Brooks is still going strong and he has writing credits for the anthology comedy series. With an all-star cast included, the show will follow us into different historical time periods, such as the Civil War era and even biblical stories will be told.
It’s been touted as the sequel to the 1981 classic History of the World, Part I, which saw an array of legendary stars such as Gregory Hines, Dom DeLuise, and Cloris Leachman.
Brooks got some help writing the series with co-creator and fellow co-writer David Stassen. Producers of the series include Ike Barinholtz, Nick Kroll, and Wanda Sykes, who all have roles in the project.
