HBO is launching a new series tonight! Rain Dogs, a half-hour comedy from BBC One and Sid Gentle Films Ltd, is primed to bring a smile and a laugh to your late night TV viewing.
The show, led by Daisy May Cooper, follows Costello Jones, a single mother struggling financially to raise her 10 year old daughter, Iris. Costello is a writer who’s down on her luck. She’s ousted from her apartment and is homeless while trying figure out next steps. All Costello wants is to be able to give Iris a good life and to make her proud, but life hasn’t handed her its best.
Then when her friend Selby, gets out of prison, life does seem to be looking up. But they have their own issues since he went to jail for her. He’s also quite privileged and able to help Costello and Iris. Their family is unconventional as Rain Dogs is a love story involving a single mother, a gay man, and the little girl they both love dearly.

What time is Rain Dogs on tonight?
Rain Dogs debuts Monday, March 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will run until 10:30 p.m. The show will also be available to stream on HBO Max. Viewers can anticipate an eight episode freshman season. If the series runs all the way through without interruption or doubling up, the finale will air on April 24.
