The Voice season 23 airs its two-hour premiere tonight, Monday, March 6, 2023 starting at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. We’re so ready to see which new talented singer and coach are crowned this season’s winner!

The advisors this year are Blake Shelton, who is exiting following season 23, Kelly Clarkson, Chance the Rapper, and Niall Horan. While of course all of the coaches have good advice, it’s Clarkson and Horan who have gotten to where they are today thanks to a competition series. Clarkson was the very first winner of American Idol, and Horan was a part of One Direction who got their start on The X Factor.

Broadcast television can sometimes be confusing with its schedule. So which days do you need to tune in? We’ve got the answer for you below!

  • Episode 9, The Battles Part 3 – April 3
  • Episode 10, The Battles Part 4 – April 4

A new addition to season 23 includes the “Playoff Pass.” During this round, each coach has one pass to use that allows both contestants to remain in the competition. But, only one can skip the Knockouts and make their way right to the Playoffs.

The Voice Knockouts

This is the point in the competition where new episodes only air once a week on Monday nights:

  • The Knockouts Premiere – Monday, April 17
  • The Knockouts Part 2 – Monday, April 24

The Mega Mentor of the season has already been announced, and that’s going to be country singer and actress Reba McEntire! She’ll be helping all of the teams during the Knockouts. The “Steal” is back to use for this round, meaning coaches can take a losing artist from another team and add them to theirs.

The Voice Playoffs

  • The Playoffs Premiere – May 1
  • The Playoffs Part 2 – May 8

20 artists will remain at this point, and only two contestants from each coach will be able to move on to the live semi-finals. Though the Playoffs are usually live, that won’t be the case this year.

The Voice Live Performance Shows

This is the point in the competition where the show goes back to the two-night premieres on both Mondays and Tuesdays.

  • Monday, May 15 (semi-finals)
  • Tuesday, May 16 (semi-finals)
  • Monday, May 22 (finals)
  • Tuesday, May 23 (finals)

The live semi-finals will see the Top 8, with the finals featuring the Top 5.

The Voice season 23 airs Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC. Episodes are also available to stream on Peacock the next day.
