If you thought March 2023 was filled with many surprised, just wait until you get to April 2023, as this month is slated to be filled with tons of amazing TV shows you’re definitely going to love.

One title, in particular, that we think you’re going to like a lot is Citadel, a brand-new series set to arrive on Amazon Prime Video in the soon-coming weeks. And while there are many weeks between now and the official premiere, we want to give you a rundown on what to expect so you can get even more hyped!

When will Citadel release on Amazon Prime Video?

Save the date! Citadel will officially release on Friday, Apr. 28, on Amazon Prime Video.

As of today, we know that the series will release two brand-new episodes on this day and then will release its remaining four episodes every week until the finale.

Who is in the cast of Citadel?

One thing that we already love most about Citadel is its star-studded cast!

Eternals star Richard Madden will play the role of Mason Kane, an amnesiac who struggles to remember the life he lived before being caught in a huge explosion on a train. Madden will be joined by Quantico‘s Priyanka Chopra, who is playing the role of Nadia Sinh.

We’ll learn a little more about who Sinh is very soon. But until then, here’s who else stars in this Amazon Prime Video original series:

What is Citadel about?

Citadel follows Mason Kane’s journey to discover who he was before his accident. He fails to remember anything or anyone significant except for Nadia Sinh, a fellow spy with whom he shares a close bond. Despite struggling with his mind, he and Sinh are tasked with bringing down a traitor to save the future. But with tensions raised and memories foggy, will they be able to carry out such a huge mission?
