Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem release date and more

It’s time for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans to assemble as we have been waiting a very long time for another full-length feature to arrive. It looks like our wishes are about to come true very soon as it’s been announced that the upcoming computer-animated superhero film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is set to come to screens nationwide!

We’ve all seen or at least have memories of the previous films whether they were half live-action half computer generated or fully animated, this film will have to follow its fully computer-animated predecessor, the 2007 film TMNT which starred Chris Evans and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

This upcoming movie is being directed by Jeff Rowe from a screenplay by Brendan O’Brien and produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver. Other production companies involved include Nickelodeon Movies and Point Grey Pictures.

The movie is currently in post-production and is expected to be released in theaters on August 2, 2023 which means you still have plenty of time to prepare for your in-theater viewing. As of now, it’s not known yet whether the movie will be streaming anywhere following its theatrical debut but we’ll keep you covered at Hidden Remote if we hear of any related news.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” Mutant Mayhem synopsis

According to the film’s studio, Paramount Pictures, the movie synopsis is as follows: After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers. Their new friend, April O’Neil, helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
