Kerry Washington is back on our screens tonight in the father-daughter duo Hulu comedy, UnPrisoned. What is the new comedy all about? We have all the details for you, below.

It’s about time Kerry Washington returns to bless our screens. But this time, the actress is starring in something more light-hearted than Scandal or Little Fires Everywhere. Washington’s UnPrisoned  is an eight episode dramedy that will stream exclusively on Hulu. The series also stars Delroy Lindo, Faly Rakotohavana, Jee Young Han, and others.

What is UnPrisoned on Hulu about?

In UnPrisoned, we’ll meet Paige Alexander (Washington), a therapist and single mom who, between work and raising her teenage son, couldn’t have a busier life. Well, things are about to become even more interesting when Paige’s father Edwin (Lindo) is released from prison. Having nowhere else to go, Edwin asks Paige if he could move in. Paige is hesitant, at first, but reluctantly accepts. Check out this teaser trailer, which gives us a sneak peek at the moments between Paige and her father and Edwin meeting his grandson, we can expect to see.

When do new episodes of UnPrisoned come out?

The dramedy premieres on Friday, March 10. All eight episodes will be released on this day, so it’s not a weekly series. Instead, it’s a show you can binge watch over the weekend. And hey, spring break is right around the corner, start adding shows to your to-watch list!

How to watch UnPrisoned

The only way to watch the new series is with a Hulu subscription, so you’ll need to sign up for a free trial if you don’t already have one.
