Echo Valley release updates, cast, synopsis and more

Apple produces so much great content, whether that’s shows or movies. One new project in the works is Echo Valley! The film is written by Brad Ingelsby, who is the creator of Mare of Easttown on HBO, per The Hollywood Reporter.

The writer also serves as a producer alongside Scott and Michael Pruss. Executive producers on the movie include Scott Greenberg, Rebecca Feuer, Nicole Jordan-Webber, Erika Olde, and Sam Roseme, the news outlet shares.

Echo Valley synopsis

The film, directed by Michael Pearce, is centered around Kate Garrett and her daughter Claire. The mother is still feeling the effects of a “personal tragedy” and spends her time focusing on boarding and training horses at Echo Valley Farm, per the synopsis from The Hollywood Reporter. One night, her daughter shows up scared and covered in someone else’s blood. The thriller will explore how far a mother will go to save her child, per the outlet.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney have been cast to play the mother and daughter in the new pic. Moore’s most recent work includes Dear Evan Hansen starring with Ben Platt, When You Finish Saving the World with Finn Wolfhard, and Sharper with Sebastian Stan.

Sweeney rose to stardom for her role as Cassie Howard in HBO series, Euphoria. The 25-year-old actress also played Olivia Mossbacher in The White Lotus season 1. Other projects she’s been a part of include The Handmaid’s Tale and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
