This awards season continues to honor some of the best works of entertainment in the past year. But it’s been such a busy year, that we may not have watched every movie that was nominated or even the winners. If that’s the case, we’re here to help! Now, we already have a list of where you can stream the Golden Globe-winning movies online, but in this post, we want to focus a bit more on Triangle of Sadness.

Even though watching shows and movies is what I do, I admit I did miss watching a couple of the nominated films, including Triangle of Sadness, so let’s learn all about it together! The 2022 movie was helmed by Swedish director Ruben Östlund and is nominated for three Academy Awards at the 2023 ceremony, including Best Motion Picture.

What is Triangle of Sadness about?

The movie is described as a social hierarchy turned on its head. Triangle of Sadness follows celebrity couple Carl (Harris Dickinson) and Yaya (Charlbi Dean) as they embark on a luxury cruise that is exclusive to wealthy individuals. It seems like the perfect vacation until everyone is left stranded and fighting to survive.

In addition to Harris Dickinson and Charlbi Dean, the movie also stars Woody Harrelson, Dolly De Leon, and others. Check out the trailer for Triangle of Sadness here:

Where can you stream the movie Triangle of Sadness?

Fortunately, if you want to watch Triangle of Sadness ahead of (or after) the Academy Awards, you’re in luck because it was recently added to a streaming service. As of March 2023, the critically acclaimed movie is streaming on Hulu. It’s not available on HBO Max or any other streamer at this time.

If you don’t have Hulu and are willing to spend some money to watch the movie, it’s also available to purchase or buy on Amazon Prime Video. You can rent it at the time of this writing for just $1.74. That’s a steal!

The film was also nominated for a Golden Globe, with Dolly De Leon receiving a Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture nomination. Along with De Leon, Angela Bassett was also nominated for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Kerry Condon for The Banshees of Inisherin, Jamie Lee Curtis for Everything Everywhere All At Onceand Carey Mulligan for She Said. Angela Bassett won this race. We’ll be curious to see how the 2023 Oscars shape up for Triangle of Sadness!
