Where to stream New Girl after it leaves Netflix (Is it on Peacock?)
We’ve got some bad news for you New Girl fans! After almost a decade on Netflix, the popular sitcom will be removed from the platform next month. That’s because Netflix is not the show’s original production company, so the streaming rights it holds are expiring.
The L.A. set series followed five millennials, Jess, Nick, Schmidt, Winston, and CeCe, as the unlikely group all become friends. It al starts out when Jess has to find a new place to stay after a bad breakup. And what comes her way? A great loft! But the ideal new home comes with roommates – three single guys.
It’s usually an inconvenience for fans when a popular show or movie gets moved around. Plus, there’s so many streaming services now that it’s hard to keep up. But unfortunately, there’s not much we can do about it. So where can you watch the comedy after it leaves Netflix? We’ve got the answer for you below!
Where to stream New Girl after leaving Netflix (Is the show on Peacock?)
Following its Netflix departure, all seven seasons of New Girl will be streaming on Peacock. But wait, there’s more! Not only will the comedy be on the NBC-owned service, but those with a Hulu account will also be able to tune in. That’s right! The show will have two new streaming homes starting Monday, April 17, 2023 as both companies came to a shared agreement.
Now that almost all the networks and companies have their own streaming services, Netflix has been losing a few big names it once held over the years. That includes Friends that is now on HBO Max, The Office which moved to Peacock, and Schitt’s Creek that can now be found on Hulu.
The sitcom starred Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, and Hannah Simone.
New Girl begins streaming all seven seasons Monday, April 17, 2023 on Hulu and Peacock.
