We’ve officially made it to hometowns, everyone! The Bachelor season 27 has been flying by and now we’re down to just the final four. Zach Shallcross has had a fantastic group of women to choose from, and each week we’ve watched as the 26-year-old former Bachelorette contestant has formed connections with many of them. We only have a few weeks now until the finale when we find out who he’ll get down on one knee and propose to. But let’s not jump too far ahead now!

Tonight’s episode saw Zach traveling across the country to meet the families and friends of his final four, which included Kaity Biggar, Gabi Elnicki, Charity Lawson, and Ariel Frenkel. I’m sure the ladies were so excited to be able to go home and see their loved ones again, this time with the new man in their lives! Zach got some hard-hitting questions from some of the ladies’ family members, which isn’t too surprising.

And while Zach had a great time visiting the contestants’ hometowns, unfortunately, he had to eliminate one of them. So who was the unfortunate cast mate to be sent packing?

Who went home on The Bachelor season 27, episode 8 (hometowns)?

Zach flew out to Columbus, Georgia to meet Charity’s loved ones, but sadly, he sent her home at the end of the episode. It was clearly a tough decision for the former college football player, but he had to send one of the contestants home. Charity told Zach she was falling in love with him during their date, but he doesn’t say it back. Though he did seem super happy to hear it, it wasn’t enough in the end. We feel so bad for Charity in her heartbreak but hope she’s able to heal!

So that means Zach is down to his final three now: Kaity, Gabi, and Ariel. Fantasy suites week takes place next Monday, but based on the previews it doesn’t look like Zach is ready to get intimate with his ladies. We’ll have to wait and see how the episode plays out next week! But before that, the season’s Women Tell All special airs tomorrow night, March 14, at 8:00 p.m. ET. Tune in to ABC for that so you don’t miss a second of the drama!
