Boston Strangler cast: Who’s in the new Hulu movie?

While there’s many documentaries about real-life crime stories, many times those stories get adapted into a film or show. One new one coming to the small screens soon is Boston Strangler on Hulu.

The historical crime drama production is set to begin streaming Friday, March 17, 2023 on the platform. The movie, based on a true story, is centered around two reporters for the Record American newspaper, Loretta McLaughlin and Jean Cole. Loretta is the first journalist to connect the Boston Strangler murders, per the synopsis.

As death continues and the killer is still free, she enlists the help of her “colleague and confidante.” In a time where the two are overlooked due to being women, the investigative duo don’t give up and continue to try to uncover the truth. And this is one story that could be putting their own lives at risk.

Two-time Academy Award nominee and English actress Keira Knightley takes on the role of Loretta, with actress Carrie Coon playing Jean. Knightley is known for multiple projects, including Pirates of the Caribbean and Pride & Prejudice. Coon is known for her role as Bertha Russell in The Gilded Age on HBO, as well as Callie Spengler in the 2021 movie Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Check out the full cast list below:
