It’s not often that we see a film that captures the plight real-life freedom fighters exhibit every day to fight for the future of others. Navalny is a film that encompasses this and so much more, as it tells the story of Alexei Navalny, a Russian lawyer who sacrificed his freedom to speak out against Vladimir Putin and the many other horrors that come with a dictatorship.

Read the official synopsis for the 2022 title here (as per IMDb):

"Follows the man who survived an assassination attempt by poisoning with a lethal nerve agent in August 2020. During his months-long recovery he makes shocking discoveries about the attempt on his life and decides to return home."
