Who is the next Bachelorette? (ABC confirms The Bachelorette season 20 lead)

Zach Shallcross’ season of The Bachelor might still be underway, but Bachelor Nation is already looking ahead to the next season of The Bachelorette and wondering who the next Bachelorette will be.

There are a lot of names fans have been tossing around this season for good reason. While Zach hasn’t exactly been a standout as Bachelor, his cast is full of amazing women who Bachelor Nation has quickly fallen in love with. As such, fans of the season’s various contestants are already eager to know who is being eyed to lead the upcoming 20th season of The Bachelorette. 

Although The Bachelor season 27 finale is not slated to air until early April, long-time Bachelor Nation insider Reality Steve has revealed the identity of the contestant from Zach Shallcross’ season who has been tapped to lead the next season of The Bachelorette — and we have a feeling fans will be happy about the rumored selection!

Who will be the next Bachelorette? (The Bachelorette season 20 spoilers)

As announced by ABC on the Women Tell All Special, The Bachelorette season 20 lead will be The Bachelor season 27 breakout Charity Lawson.

"“I’ve waited forever to find the love of my life, and it blows my mind that I could meet my person and be engaged and literally have my happily ever after,” Lawson said on the special. “I can’t wait to show little girls that look like me that being in a position like this is possible.”"

Lawson’s name first emerged as the frontrunner for The Bachelorette season 20 lead after Bachelor Nation insider Reality Steve reported she had been tapped to lead the show’s upcoming 20th season.

Lawson was eliminated following The Bachelor season 27 hometown dates, with her casting as the lead of The Bachelorette coming after her elimination from the show.
