When we think of which pairs make near-perfect couples this season of The Bachelor, many duos come to mind. However, no duo quite compares to the pair that is Zach Shallcross and Gabrielle “Gabi” Elnicki!

Although the two didn’t form a super strong bond at the beginning of season 27, the romance slowly but surely blossomed into something beautiful, as it became more and more difficult for either of the two to stay away from each other. What’s more, with the many dates the two went on, Bachelor Nation observed how the chemistry only grew stronger over time. But, as we have quickly learned, sometimes chemistry isn’t enough to secure the final rose.

Do The Bachelor’s Zach and Gabi get engaged?

It looks like Gabi makes it far this season, but she does not receive the final rose!

As per Reality Steve, the Vermont native made it to the final two this season. We’re not exactly sure what led to Zach’s final decision other than the weeks prior to the final week of season 27. But from the sound of it, it seems like Gabi knew all the right moves to make it that far. However, Kaity Biggar is the contestant to win the whole thing, and she and Zach got engaged at the end of filming, according to Reality Steve.

Are The Bachelor’s Zach and Gabi dating now?

Even though Gabi does not win this season of The Bachelor, there’s always a chance she and Zach could’ve reconciled after filming wrapped. Is that the case? As we know, it’s imperative for couples to keep their romance under wraps until the finale of The Bachelor. However, based on their respective Instagram profiles—@zachshallcross and @sprinkling_sunshine—it doesn’t seem like the two are together. As of right now, we’re assuming Zach is still with Kaity. But we’ll have to wait and see!
