There is good news to be had, Sunnydale fans. Fan favorites, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spin-off series Angel, are staying put on the streamer. There was concern that both shows were ending their run on the streamer in March but they are both aren’t leaving.
Fans had noticed “expiring” tags for both shows on Hulu which was doing a countdown until the end of February. All seven seasons of Buffy and all five seasons of Angel have been streaming on Hulu for a few years now, and fans were tweeting their sadness about the expiration when they saw the tags. Since then, some fans noticed that the tag disappeared, and Hulu confirmed on Twitter that the shows are staying.

Aside from Hulu, Buffy and Angel are also streaming for free on The Roku Channel with ads. The full series and stand-alone episodes of both shows are also available to buy on Amazon. However, if you have Hulu, you will still be able to stream your favorite shows.
Is it by chance that Hulu extended the two vampire shows or did it have something to do with Buffy celebrating 26 years from its debut air date just a couple of days ago? Maybe!
Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz took to Instagram to remember the show, working together, and to celebrate 26 years via memories. Gellar also recently reminisced about another costar she had on the beloved cult show, posting an image from a scene she shared with a young Pedro Pascal of The Last of Us.
Pascal, 47, said he was “excited” to see Gellar’s shoutout, recalling to Access Hollywood that it was “a super big deal” getting cast on the show. Pascal said, “Sarah Michelle Gellar remembers me and I want her to know that I remember every moment of shooting that episode, as brief as it was. She was such a kind scene partner and we had the best time.”
You can catch your favorite stars in other TV shows that are currently streaming on Paramount+ as well. Sarah Michelle Gellar is starring on the Wolfpack and David Boreanaz is the lead on The Seal Team.
