Will John Wick be in the Ballerina spin-off starring Ana de Armas?

We’ve been following assassin John Wick and his challenges in the criminal underworld since the first film debuted in 2014! And now the release of the fourth movie, John Wick: Chapter 4, will be coming on Friday, March 24, 2023. We absolutely can’t wait!

The fourth production will see the titular character, played by Keanu Reeves, find a way to defeat the High Table. But it’s not going to be easy, with the assassin having to face a new enemy and old friends who turn into foes, per the synopsis.

The great news is that the action-packed universe isn’t done expanding! There’s a spin-off film in the works as well starring the talented Ana de Armas. So will Reeves be back to reprise his iconic role? We’ve got the answer for you below!

Will John Wick be in the Ballerina spin-off starring Ana de Armas?

Good news John Wick fans! The actor announced he will make an appearance in the spin-off movie, Ballerina, starring Armas. We’ve known it would very likely be happening, but this is the first time the star has officially confirmed the news. He did so at the 2023 South by Southwest event, per Deadline.

Ballerina follows a female assassin named Rooney who is looking for revenge after her family is killed. The character was previously played by actress Unity Phelan in John Wick: Chapter 3, but Armas has taken over the role.

Other than Reeves, another familiar face reprising his role is Ian McShane as Winston, the manager at The Continental Hotel. Lance Reddick, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Norman Reedus, and Catalina Sandino Moreno round out the cast.

We don’t know how much of a role John Wick will play yet exactly, so we’ll just have to wait and see. In whatever capacity it is, I know it’s going to be fun and exciting! In the meantime, we have John Wick 4 to look forward to!
