What is Lucky Hank on AMC about?

The series is about William Henry “Hank” Devereaux, Jr., a man who works as an English department chairman at the underfunded Railton College in the Pennsylvania rust belt. While coping with a midlife crisis, his wife, Lily, also begins to question her own path as the vice principal of the local high school. While they both deal with the life choices they’ve both made, viewers are given a first hand look at the happenings of these two and other characters as the episodes are narrated in the first person by Hank himself.

If you’re looking for a new dramedy to watch weekly on Sunday nights, this sounds like the perfect series for you. The average Bob Odenkirk fan will also appreciate this show, even if they’re still mourning the end of the Breaking Bad spin-off which wrapped up its six season-run on the same network in the summer of 2022.
