Worried you’ll need to change your St. Paddy’s Day plans for Fire Country tonight? Is there a new episode on CBS tonight, Friday, March 17?

St. Patrick’s Day being on a Friday night is great. It means we get to go out and celebrate. However, is that before or after new episodes of our favorite shows?

Well, we don’t have to pick tonight, Friday, March 17. Fire Country isn’t airing a new episode tonight. There’s no even a rerun. It’s all about March Madness right now, so as a basketball fan you may want to stay in. Otherwise, there’s no need to worry.

When will Fire Country return with new episodes?

Will there be no more episodes in March 2023? There is some good news. The series will take two weeks off, but we’ll get a new episode on Friday, March 31. New episodes of SWAT and Blue Bloods return on the same day after taking the same two-week break for basketball.

We’re going into this break without having to worry too much about the drama. We know that the second season is confirmed, and the series is even starting the casting process. That won’t be too surprising when you consider there could be a writer’s strike in May, so the writers will have already been hard at work getting scripts together to ensure the shows can film during the summer.

Rebecca Mader from Once Upon a Time is joining the firefighter series.  Kanoa Goo is also joining the show. Mader will pay Faye, the head of a private concierge firefighting company. She meets Manny in an AA meeting and there may be some romantic sparks.

As for Goo, he will play Kyle who has arrived to attend a swim clinic. He knows Gabriela well, and she regards him as a trusted friend, but could he be interested in her as more than that? He’s sure not to get on well with Bode.
