Get ready for a romantic comedy series, with a musical twist! Hulu‘s new show, Up Here, is set to drop with all eight episodes on Friday, March 24, 2023. Will you be tuning in?

The series takes place in New York City “in the waning days of 1999,” per the synopsis. The story follows a couple, Lindsay and Miguel, as they fall in love. And though the feelings are strong, they might discover that the biggest obstacle in the way of finding the happiness together is themselves. Memories, obsessions, fears, and fantasies all come into play of what that entails, per the synopsis.

Who stars in Up Here musical series on Hulu?

Good Girls actress Mae Whitman takes on the co-leading role of Lindsay, while her male co-lead is Carlos Valdes as Miguel. The actor is most known for playing Cisco Ramon/Vibe on The Flash and other Arrowverse shows. Scott Porter, Hart of Dixie and Ginny & Georgia star, takes on the role of Orson.  Check out the full cast list below:

The musical television production is directed by Thomas Kail, who took on the same role for Hamilton on Broadway. Steven Levenson, writer of Tick, Tick… Boom!, and Danielle Sanches-Witzel penned the production’s script. Songwriting duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez created the original tunes for the project.
