March 24 weekend movies: Every new movie in theaters and streaming this weekend

Happy John Wick weekend to those that are celebrating. Below, we share the best new weekend movies to watch in theaters and available on streaming services that you won’t want to miss.
After a massive number of films were released over the first few weeks of March, this is the lightest weekend of the movies of the month. So, if you are looking to catch up, there are still some great films to watch, including Creed III, Shazam! Fury of the Gods and Scream 6. Or you could always sit at home and watch Love is Blind season 4, that is one of the best options.
Weekend movies to watch (and stream) today
- John Wick 4, In Theaters
- Reggie, Prime Video
The weekend’s biggest release comes in the form of John Wick 4. The fourth installment of the franchise is coming in strong with some rave reviews from those who have seen the film. I am intrigued that a movie with this bloated run time will kick butt for almost three hours. That said, as a massive fan of this franchise, the idea of Keanu Reeves killing folks for three hours is delightful. With this being potentially Reeves’ last time in the role of John Wick, I think he might go out with a bang.
The only other notable release this weekend comes over at Prime Video and Reggie. The documentary follows the story of Reggie Jackson, who contemplates his legacy as one of the first iconic black athletes. The film features Jackson, Derek Jeter, Bill Russell, Hank Aaron, and countless other athletes. The man is known as Mr. October to most after his historic three homerun game in the World Series in 1977; I can’t wait to watch this.
