Wow is all we can say about John Wick 4, the continuation of the action-filled film franchise that has captivated us since it first began! Keeanu Reeves of course was the perfect choice to play the titular character. And the fourth movie really was worth the wait!

What is the post-credits scene in John Wick 4?

Last chance to avoid spoilers! Alright, so we’re going to go back to the beginning of the film first. We see that Caine (Yen) was forced by the High Table to attack the Osaka Continental, putting him face to face with Koji (Hiroyuki Sanada). He and his daughter Akira (Sawayama) were trying to run away, but before they could make it out, Caine found them.

What makes it so hard is that Koji and Caine are old friends, but the blind assassin had to do what needed to be done when Koji stayed loyal to John Wick. With her father gone, Akira tries to go after Caine. But he tells her to “live” and lets her go. But she’s not going to let things go so easily. Before leaving, Caine told her that if she ever tried to seek revenge against him, he’d hear her coming.

In the post-credits scene, we see Caine finally have the chance to reunite with his daughter since the High Table is no longer a threat. As he’s walking up to her with blue flowers in his hand, Akira appears behind him and pulls out a small dagger. Though we see her head towards him, it cuts to black before we actually see if Caine does in fact hear her, or she manages to strike him.

For now, it remains a mystery and we don’t know if it will ever be answered. With the titular character now gone, who knows if a fifth movie is going to happen. Though we do have the spin-off starring Ana de Armas to look forward to. What do you think?
