Yellowjackets is back on Showtime! And if the season 2 premiere episode is any indication, the mystery and insanity has been kicked up a notch (or maybe two) from the first season. Trust us, you haven’t seen anything yet! But we’ll save the speculation for another post, because below, it’s all about the soundtrack. Did you catch all the songs in the Yellowjackets soundtrack from season 2 episode 1, “Friends, Romans, Countrymen”? No worries, we’ve got you covered!

Missed the season 2 premiere episode? This is a safe place! There are absolutely no spoilers ahead. But we do highly suggest you go stream it ASAP to avoid bumping into spoilers online. If you’re not able to stream the episode, it’ll air on Showtime this Sunday, March 26.

Yellowjackets soundtrack: Season 2 episode 1 song list

The hit Showtime psychological drama is known for many things, including its killer soundtrack. Let’s just say, the songs never disappoint. So if you were wanting to add some of the songs featured in season 2 episode 1, but didn’t catch the lyrics or song title, we list them for you, here:

  • “Seventeen” by Sharon Van Etten
  • “No Return” by Craig Wedren and Anna Warner
  • “Drown” by The Smashing Pumpkins
  • “#1 Crush” by Garbage
  • “Last Resort” by Papa Roach
  • Bobby Who?” by Craig Wedren, Anna Waroker and Theodore Shapiro
  • Cornflake Girl” by Tori Amos

Which of these songs will you be adding to your playlist? We could listen to “No Return” all day, every day. We didn’t realize how much we missed this intro until today. “Drown” by The Smashing Pumpkins gave me all of the nostalgia, but the biggest surprise is definitely “Last Resort” by Papa Roach. The way Jeff (Warren Kole) was banging to the song in his car is how you’ll find me all week. Finally, one song I did not know until this episode, is “Cornflake Girl” by Tori Amos.

Now, if you’ll excuse me…Alexa, shuffle my Yellowjackets playlist!
