After four seasons on HBO Max, Succession will be closing its doors. Since 2018, audiences have been following the Roy family as they figure out who will be taking over patriarch Logan Roy’s company as he made the decision to step down. Now with the final season about to premiere on March 26, how many Succession season 4 episodes will air?

So what is the HBO Max series about? In the show, Logan Roy, played by Brian Cox, has decided to step down from his entertainment conglomerate, Waystar, RoyCo. He has four children, each from different marriages, who are possible contenders to take over the company.

Because of his complicated relationship with each of them, this is an ongoing question throughout the series of who will eventually be chosen as, well, successor.

Although by season four, the company is set to be sold to Lukas Matsson, a tech CEO that Waystar had initially began to work with on acquiring his company, GoJo.

How many Succession season 4 episodes will there be?

In the synopsis for the season, it states “The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familiar division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is completed.”

The show also stars Alan Ruck as Connor Roy, Kieran Culkin as Roman Roy, Jeremy Strong as Kendall Roy, and Sarah Snook as Siobhan “Shiv” Roy. Other stars include Matthew Macfadyen, J. Smith-Cameron, Alexander Skarsgård, and Nicholas Braun.

It looks like this will be an exciting season to end on as we head towards the finish line. So when will the season be complete?

The final season will run for 10 episodes, coming after the third season only had 9 episodes. Beginning Sunday, March 26, fans will be able to watch the return of the Roys in the episode “The Munsters” on HBO MAX.
