Great Expectations release schedule: When do new episodes come out?

Who’s ready for a new take on Charles’ Dickens Great Expectations tale? We sure are! Of course Pip is the central character, but another one is the enigmatic Miss Havisham. And it’s Olivia Colman herself who takes on the role!

Joining Colman onscreen are Fionn Whitehead as Pip, Shalom Brune-Franklin as Estella, Ashley Thomas as Jaggers, Hayley Squires as Sara Gargery, Owen McDonnell as Joe Gargery, and more. The show is written and executive produced by Steven Knight. Tom Hardy, Ridley Scott, Dean Baker, David W. Zucker and Kate Crowe also take on EP duties.

When do new episodes of Great Expectations come out on Hulu?

Great Expectations premiered Sunday, March 26, 2023 with the first two episodes. So what can we expect in the following weeks? Going forward, one new installment will be released on the streaming service. The finale of the six-episode season is set for Sunday, April 23, 2023. The series is centered around Pip, a smart and innocent orphan raised by his sister who is yearning for more in life. He’s supposed to take over the family business and become a blacksmith. But when he has the chance to possibly become a gentleman in London’s upper-class society thanks to his mysterious benefactor Miss Havisham, he’s going to take it.

But the “dark world of possibilities” that he’s now come across may cost him the man he’s looking to be, per the synopsis. Pip will have to decide if that’s worth elevating himself in society. Will he? We’re going to find out as the story plays out this season!
