Is Sheila Carter gone from this world? She fell off the balcony today on The Bold and the Beautiful after Bill revealed his plan to take her down. He’d been delighted earlier in the episode when he got her to once again confirm what she’d told him about Dr. Jay Garvin and Lance Day. Understandably confused, Sheila was trying to piece together why Bill seemed so happy to hear that she’s been involved in two deaths, one of which was premeditated.

Ridge was willing him to reel it in as he watched the live feed from the control room he’s been holed up in with their assigned FBI agent. Bill did manage to tamp down on his glee enough to briefly convince Sheila that he was simply relieved that she’d said yes to his proposal and opened up to him the way he wanted but things took a sharp left when she caught him on the phone talking to Ridge.

Bill had initially stepped away so he could check-in and preen about his achievement. As he told Sheila, he was going to make sure she gets what she so “richly deserves,” but she thought he’d meant a life with him and a love that defies the odds. In reality, Bill wants to use her murder confession to lock her away for good.

Sheila found this out the hard way once Bill, realizing that he’d been caught, shared that he’d been playing her the entire time. He pushed his family away so that he could convince them and her that he was sincere about his feelings. Bill also admitted that their beach “connection” was a set-up. He never loved her and, though he professed his love and slept with her, he never intended on spending his life with her.

The Bold and the Beautiful recap

Horrified that she’d been duped, Sheila was clearly upset. She couldn’t wrap her head around how deceptive Bill had been. And, when he told her that no one could love her, she tried to say that Finn wanted to get to know her but Steffy poisoned him against her. That, of course, isn’t actually how things went down, and Bill refused to let Sheila make it seem like she was the victim in that whole plot.

He told her that his place was miked and outfitted with cameras, and Ridge was working with him the whole time to take her down. She fell for what he was selling hook, line, and sinker and now all that’s left is for the police to cart her way. Frustrated and hurt, Sheila charged at Bill.

Their struggle was brief as it resulted in Sheila falling over the balcony. The cameras that were placed around Bill’s house picked up on the whole thing. The last we see of Sheila in the episode, she’s sprawled on the ground with Bill looking down on her from the balcony. That whole altercation escalated quickly.

Across town, Brooke and Katie were having lunch together. The sisters spoke primarily about Bill and Katie’s dilemma over what to tell Will about his father’s relationship. Bill’s romance with Sheila makes no sense to her, and she believes Sheila to be a danger to everyone, especially Bill.

When Carter walked into the main office at Forrester Creations, he also joined in on the conversation about where Bill’s head is. He, too, thinks this whole situation is bizarre and he’s been a supportive force in Katie’s life as she deals with this issue. After he left, Brooke checked in about the pair’s romance since it’s brand new and Katie’s under a lot of stress which is singularly focused on Bill. But she assured Brooke that they’re fine. Her concern is Bill not acting like the man she fell in love with and shares a child with and she wants him to be okay.

Considering Bill’s got Sheila’s prone body laying on his grass, I’d say he’s not doing so well. The FBI agent assured him and Ridge that the confession had been recorded, but you know how things go in soap land. If it wasn’t and Sheila’s okay…watch out, Bill. Until next time, Bold fans. Stay beautiful!
