When will Riverdale season 7 come out on Netflix?

Updated: Aug. 23, 2023 – Riverdale season 7 has rocked and bopped its way on to The CW, taking its fan base for one last whirl as it airs its final season. Archie and the gang are reliving their teenage years, but they’re out of their own time. It’s the ’50s and they’re coming-of-age in an era completely different from the one they knew even if many of their struggles and their discoveries are similar to situations all teens go through no matter the generation.

What’s keeping them trapped in this time period has to do, partially, with their inability to remember who they are. The last we saw of the adult versions of this lovable crew, they were bracing for the comet to possibly hit Riverdale and hoping Cheryl could use her powers to disrupt its impact. They have no idea how things played out or how they landed in the ’50s but, obviously, a good chunk of this season is going to be about how they get home to their own time.

Season 7 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET after new episodes Nancy Drew, and international Netflix subscribers can watch on Thursdays after new episodes air. But what about US Netflix users? When will the final season hit the streamer in the U.S.? Here’s what we know!

Riverdale season 7 Netflix release date

The town with pep’s last jaunt around the airwaves consists of a 20 episode run and the series finale will air on Aug. 23 after Nancy Drew‘s final episode. Typically, full seasons of CW shows land on Netflix eight days after the season finale airs. The streamer has announced you’ll be able to binge watch Riverdale‘s final season on Aug. 31.
