Ghosted filming locations: Where was the Apple TV+ movie filmed?

Ghosted on Apple TV+ features some beautiful locations, including a very cool rotating restaurant I’m sure audiences are super curious about. Where was that scene in Ghosted (as well as the rest of the movie) filmed?

Chris Evans and Ana De Armas star in the action-comedy (with a splash of romance) movie Ghosted. Evans is Cole, a hopeless romantic afraid of taking risks, while De Armas is Sadie, a CIA agent who is all about adventure. They are an unlikely pair, but they are forced to work together, and get along, if they want to escape with their lives after becoming entangled in a mission where many lives are at risk.

Now, when it comes to filming locations. Movies (and shows) do not always film where the movie is supposed to be set. In fact, more often than not, shooting takes place in Atlanta, studios in California, and Ontario. These are the main hotspots. But, sometimes, the cast and crew do travel to an island instead of a green-screen studio. Did the cast of Ghosted do this?

Where was the rotating restaurant scene in Ghosted filmed?

Is the rotating restaurant featured in the film a real location? Yes! This scene was filmed in Atlanta’s Polaris Lounge, a rotating restaurant and lounge. Of course, it doesn’t rotate as wildly as it is featured in the film, but the location is very real and offers some of the most beautiful views in the city.

Principal photography and the majority of the movie was filmed in Atlanta and Washington DC. Some locations from the movie you may remember, include The Exorcist Steps, located in Washington DC. These steps really were used in the movie The Exorcist. 

Other scenes filmed in Washington DC, include the National Gallery of Art, the Ford Theatre Book Tower, and Wharf Jitney Recreation Pier. The rest of the movie was filmed in various spots in Atlanta, and we do see Cole being taken at the Tower Bridge in London.
