How many episodes are in Fatal Attraction on Paramount+?

Fatal Attraction has made its land on Paramount+. The series adaptation of the ’80s classic follows Daniel Gallagher, a man who’s spent the last 15 years in prison for murdering Alexandra Forrest, his mistress. Though the streaming original doesn’t take place in the same time period as the movie it’s expanding on, it does have the same vibe in its styling.
For this iteration of Dan and Alex’s story, their affair begins in the late aughts. Dan gets wrapped up in his attraction to her and though their dalliance is brief, it catches fire. So much so that he ends up ruining the life he built with his wife, Beth, and upending his daughter’s world in the process.
The series flits back and forth between the affair and the present day where Dan has been paroled and he intends on reconnecting with his family and proving that he’s innocent of the crime that he was convicted of. This is a departure from the film, as it’s a thriller and doesn’t have a murder mystery plot.

The Paramount+ original premiered Sunday, April 30 with its first three episodes. Fatal Attraction will have a total of eight episodes. The series will release weekly on the platform until it finishes its run on May 28 with a double episode finale.
