Who does Pete Davidson play in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is packed with some big faces. But it turns out Pete Davidson had a cameo appearance in the film that fans may have missed! What role did Davidson play in the picture?

James Gunn and the GOTG stars
For his grand send-off to the Guardians of the Galaxy universe, James Gunn went all out with a great story packed with familiar faces. That included longtime friend Nathan Fillion (The Rookie) as a security guard at Ogocorp, an interstellar company the Guardians infiltrate.
Gunn had a few brief cameos, which included his wife, Jennifer Holland, as another Ogocorp employee. He also brought in Pete Davidson, who he’s had a long friendship with. The Saturday Night Live comedian had played the role of Blackguard in The Suicide Squad, who met a grisly end.
So it’s no shock that Davidson has a role in GOTG Vol 3, but it would be easy for fans not to recognize him.
What was Pete Davidson’s GOTG Volume 3 cameo?
Speaking to fans on social media, Gunn revealed he had a brief cameo himself in the film voicing Lambshank, one of the many creatures experimented on by the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji). It’s a funny bit as Mantis freaks out seeing this strange mix of a sheep and pig before moving on.
Gunn then revealed that Davidson had stopped by the Atlanta set for a day and played Phlektik, one of the alien soldiers serving the High Evolutionary. He and others try to stop Star-Lord, only for him to point out that the entire ship around them is blowing up, so they drop the conflict to escape.
"“I voiced the beautiful Lambshank. I don’t want to show her here because she’s too gorgeous & I don’t want folks to feel bad about themselves in comparison. And my friend Pete not only voiced but actually came to visit us in Atlanta for a day and played Phlektik on set.”"
Thus, Davidson’s cameo was just Gunn recruiting a friend for a brief bit but does make another great highlight of the wild MCU movie.
