Class of ’09, the new FX thriller streaming on Hulu, follows a class of FBI agents who are thrown back together when one of their classmates dies. There’s a suspicion that their death was the result of A.I. interference. Yes, this is a plot involving artificial intelligence and how it’s impacted law enforcement and criminal investigation in the years since these agents graduated from Quantico in 2009.

The limited series stars Brian Tyree Henry and Kate Mara in the lead roles. Henry plays Tayo Miller, an agent whose unorthodox methods–paired with his brilliance–have led to successful case closing. Tayo is determined to overhaul the justice system.

Mara’s character, Amy Poet, is also a gifted crime solver. She’s one of the most successful undercover agents in the Bureau, but she came into this work by accident, she just has a knack for doing the job and doing it well. Click here for the cast list.

If you plan on tuning into Class of ’09, be prepared for the series to jump in and out of timelines as the series takes place in three separate time periods while it takes viewers through the mystery at the core of the plot. This FX show isn’t a binge offering on Hulu. Here’s what you need to know about its release schedule!

When doe new episodes of Class of ’09 come out on Hulu?

The series premiered Wednesday, May 10 with its first two episodes. Going forward, a new episode will release weekly on the streamer. There will be a total of eight episodes in this limited series, so we’ll be on this ride through May and most of June until the series finale on June 21.
