Ghosts Season 3 will not premiere on CBS in May 2023

“The Christmas Spirit: Part One” – In part one of a special one-hour #Ghostsmas episode, Jay’s sister, Bela (Punam Patel), visits Woodstone Mansion and brings along an adoring male friend, inspiring Sam to spark a romance between them in the spirit of the holiday rom coms she loves. There is some good and bad news. The good is that Ghosts Season 3 is happening, but the bad is that it won’t premiere just yet.

We are certainly ready to see what comes next for Sam, Jay, and the deceased members of Woodstone Manor. We will get to see more as there is going to be a third season of the series. The bad news is we don’t get to see that season just yet.

That’s not surprising considering the Season 2 finale only aired last night. We don’t usually get premieres of big shows this time of year, and there would be a lot of things working against it right now, anyway. At least we have an idea of when it will come back.

When will Ghosts Season 3 premiere on CBS?

CBS has announced the fall schedule, and this comedy series is part of it. That’s great news for fans. It’s also unsurprising news for fans as it is one of the network’s top shows in terms of viewership.

It will remain on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT. CBS just hasn’t given us a return date. Usually, we would say one of the last two Thursdays in September 2023, but that is questionable at the moment.

The writers strike continues. This is likely to be a long one, and it could mean delays for the series. The good news is the show got an early renewal so some scripts will be ready. That allowed for production to already start, which it needs to for this show as it films in Montreal. Winters are not nice there!

Eventually, production may have to shut down. This may allow for a regular start to the season if CBS wants staggered starts for everything. We may get a longer winter break instead.
