At the time of this writing, only these three shows have been canceled by Apple TV+, with Truth Be Told being the latest one to get the boot. There’s a chance more will soon follow. Check back for updates! In the meantime, here are the shows that have already scored another season.

Searching for The Other Two on this list? Season 3 premieres on HBO Max on May 4, but no plans for a fourth season have been announced just yet! We’re also waiting to hear about The Flight Attendant. As for Barry, the series is an HBO original, but does air on HBO Max, which is why it’s not on this list. However, Barry is currently airing its fourth and final season.
Which Max streaming shows are canceled?
For the most part, HBO Max has renewed our favorites, including The Sex Lives of College Girls and Hacks. But there have been some cancelations that have stung…
- Doom Patrol
- Gordita Chronicles
- Gossip Girl
- Made for Love
- Minx
- Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman’s Butler
- South Side
- Titans
- The Other Two
Are any of these cancellations surprising? I saw Gossip Girls‘ cancellation coming a mile away, personally. And I know fans of Doom Patrol and Titans were expecting another season. Which of these shows will you miss the most?

- Only Murders in the Building has been renewed for season 3
- Reasonable Doubt is coming back for a second round
- Reservation Dogs season 3 is a go
- Tell Me Lies will be back for season 2
- This Fool season 2 is on the way
Listen, I loved the first couple of seasons of The Handmaid’s Tale, but it is really dragging at this point. How you kept up with the series? You’ll notice that most of the of the renewed series are on their second season, with the exception of Only Murders, Reservation Dogs, and The Handmaid’s Tale. Which show do you think will be the next to get a third season? My money is on Life and Beth.
Which Hulu shows are canceled?
- Kindred
- Maggie
- Reboot
- Up Here
Shows we are still waiting to hear about include American Horror Stories, The Orville, and UnPrisoned. Personally, American Horror Stories does not need to come back for a third season. As much as I love the original, this bite-size horror stories were just not doing it for me. Some were good, but most weren’t fun or thrilling at all. We’re also anxious to learn about Ramy. And I’m super excited to watch Only Murders in the Building season 3. The cast for the upcoming season is amazing! I can’t wait to see Selena Gomez and the gang (and all of the new faces).
Is there a series on this list you are surprised to see? Which canceled shows will you miss the most? Which renewal are you the happiest about?
Now, out of all the streamers on this post, Netflix is king. But make no mistake, it’s king because it has the most content available to stream. However, here at Hidden Remote, we believe that it’s all about quality over quantity. That said, Netflix may have a lot of shows (and movies) available to stream, but it is not any better than Max or Paramount+, for example.
Which Netflix shows are canceled?
- Bling Empire
- Bling Empire: New York
- Fate: The Winx Saga

- The Imperfects
- Inside Job

Are you surprised to see any of these shows on the canceled list? I would’ve liked to see another season of First Kill and Firefly Lane. Will you miss any of these canceled show? Netflix doesn’t exactly have a good reputation when it comes to giving shows second or third seasons, so the number of canceled shows here isn’t shocking.

I really enjoyed the first couple of seasons of The Umbrella Academy, but then I stopped watching. The third season of YOU almost lost me, but the final set of episodes make up for it. However, I’m glad the upcoming season is the final one in the series.
Which Disney+ shows are canceled?
- Big Shots
- The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers
- The Mysterious Benedict Society
- National Treasure: Edge of History
- Willow
It may appear as if the streaming platform is struggling to find an audience, based on the number of canceled shows. However, Disney+ knows that its audience are Star Wars and Marvel fans, and they will continue to produce content in these areas — as well as a splash of family fun.
I never did watch any of the four shows that have been canceled, but I don’t think they will be missed as Disney+ has plenty of family content available, including classic Disney movies. Now, on to the renewals.
Which Disney+ shows are renewed?
- High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 4 is a go

This is a rather short list, but it’s not surprising since Paramount+ is one of the newer platforms. The service is quickly growing, though, with shows such as Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and others.

- Carnival Row
- Hunters
- Night Sky
- Paper Girls

- The Terminal List season 2 is happening, as well as a prequel
- Upload season 3 is on the way
- The Wheel of Time season 3 is a go
- With Love has been renewed for season 2
From all of these shows on Prime Video, The Boys and Invincible are the most popular ones. There aren’t many shows that have made it for over two seasons, but I think The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Reacher may be next on the list as Prime Video staples.
