The Golden Bachelor is coming Fall 2023 to ABC (Everything to know)

ABC has teased the potential of a senior being the lead of The Bachelor franchise for quite some time. But today, this tease is more than just a hopeful wish, as the television network is slated to release The Golden Bachelor, a spin-off series featuring our first-ever lead above thirty years old!

This new installment will feel like a breath of fresh air, especially since it will remind you that not even age can get in the way of finding the love of your life. What’s more, as with all new seasons of the franchise, we’re slated to meet tons of new contestants that we definitely want to root for.

All in all, there’s nothing but new beginnings in store for The Golden Bachelor, which is why we want to loop you in on all the updates.

When will The Golden Bachelor release on ABC?

TV Line reports that The Golden Bachelor will officially arrive sometime in Fall 2023. The official date has yet to be released. However, the media outlet confirms that the new series will release every Monday at 10:00 p.m. ET.

What will The Golden Bachelor be about?

As stated above, The Golden Bachelor will have the same format as previous installments of The Bachelor (and The Bachelorette). Only, this series will feature a much older lead. Also, the contestants will be much older, as the series’ casting call requested single women aged 65 and up.

Who will host The Golden Bachelor?

Should history repeat itself, we can expect Jesse Palmer to return to host The Golden Bachelor, as Palmer has hosted the latest seasons of the franchise. Even so, since Palmer is a tad younger than the lead is expected to be, ABC may recruit a special host for this new release. Only time will tell!
