Apple TV+ shows no signs of slowing down with their original programming! Subscribers should set their sights on the new comedy episodic series entitled High Desert. After having been announced in 2020, the series will finally see the light of day on the platform for watchers to enjoy.

High Desert was created by Nancy Fichman, Katie Ford and Jennifer Hoppe and is produced by Red Hour Films, Dime One Pictures, Spoon Productions, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Apple Studios.

The show follows Peggy, an addict, who decides to make a fresh start after the death of her mom, Rosalyn. After living in Yucca Valley, California, she becomes a private investigator. The series also focuses on Denny, Peggy’s ex, a parolee and a relentless operator, and Guru Bob, a local ex-anchorman who reinvents himself as a mystic desert personality. There’s Carol, Peggy’s closest friend — the bored fiancé of an ER doctor, and a permissive new stepmother — who has a secret of her own as well and other characters include Bruce, another private investigator who becomes Peggy’s reluctant employer, and Dianne, Peggy’s sister, who tries to help her out.
