May has been a pretty slow month for Disney+ users. There have been a few originals and some other shows added that Disney owns.

In particular, I feel like I’ve barely seen any coverage of The Muppets Mayhem. Then again, I’m sure I’m not the only one who forgets Disney owns the Muppets. That’s just the first in a long line of properties the Mouse House has acquired.

We all know of the heavy hitters such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones which are under Lucasfilm, Marvel, and even, Pixar. The brand also owns ABC which became even more apparent after the shifting changes with Dancing With The Stars.

Either way, week in and week out, it’s fun to tune in and see which of these properties Disney+ is going to add to its lineup. Of course, that’s the perfect intro to discuss this past week’s additions so let’s get into it.

New on Disney+

In previous weeks, there has been a pattern yet Disney is throwing that pattern completely out the window. This week, we’re not getting any new original content but rather getting some episodes that were previously aired on TV. Honestly, that’s not always a bad thing as it helps those who cut the cord to possibly find a new favorite.

As you can tell, it’s a very short list towards the end of May. Even so, that does give me hope for next week as there are a lot of exciting new originals and even some iconic movies coming to the platform as May comes to a close. However, that’s a topic for another week but I’d love to know if you’ll be watching anything on Disney+ this weekend.
