On June 3, 2018, we were introduced to the Roy family, and for over 38 episodes spanning five years, Succession is heading into its 39th and final episode. With a massive finale ahead for us, we share with you how long the Succession finale will be on Sunday.

Succession follows the Logan Roy and the Roy family, known for controlling the world’s largest media and entertainment company. The series follows Logan’s kids, Roman, Shiv, and Kendall trying to impress their father to be next in line for taking over the company. Throughout each season, you witness many cutthroat, backstabbing dealings that leave you on the edge of your seat.

We’ve witnessed Succession become this massive series due in part to incredible writing by Jesse Armstrong and his excellent team of writers. It’s been one remarkable ride through the years of witnessing this truly awful family do awful things to other people, and we, the viewers, cannot get enough of it. Each time you think you might root for one of these kids (except Shiv, I love her), you are reminded how awful they truly are.

How long is the Succession Series Finale on HBO?

With us approaching the finale, we witness a jocking for position amongst the Roy kids as we’ve never seen before. Because of this, we are getting a 90-minute series finale of Succession on Sunday. Yes, we who love the series so much are getting rewarded with a run time of a movie for the last episode.

Sunday, we should see the aftermath of the Roy family trying to take charge of the company. With Shiv and Matsson making deals to protect the deal in place while Kendall and Roman are doing their best to keep the company, the biggest question is who will reign supreme in the end. With the election results hanging in the balance still, that could shift what is ahead for either side of this deal.

Also, we have several other things to close out, including what’s ahead for Shiv and Tom, especially with her pregnancy. Where does Tom land in the deal for Waystar? What about Greg? Will he sneak his way into a top position? Or maybe even take charge? How does Connor handle what is happening? He is on the verge of combusting trying to navigate his massive loss in the election. So many answers, and thankfully, we will have a gigantic 90-minute finale to watch it unfold.

Succession season finale will air on HBO Sunday, May 21, at 9 PM EST.
