RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars is back with its 8th installment and already shaking things up! What’s new on the popular competition show and who’s already gone?

Caution: This article has SPOILERS for the first three episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 8

The idea of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars is pretty obvious: Popular contestants from the long-running RuPaul’s Drag Race (often including some winners) will face off in a special competition to see who’s the best of the best.

It’s the same format as the regular show, as contestants compete for the best outfits and runway looks and a lip-synch challenge face-off. The show does put spins on the format in order to be more exciting. For example, Season 8 has contestants not only competing for the “Drag Race  Hall of Fame,” but a parallel competition called “Queen of the Fame Games” takes place. This has viewers voting for the best unused runway outfits of eliminated contestants, with the winner decided at the end of the season for a $50,000 prize.

The show is up to episode four and already some nice fun and wild outfits overseen by a top line of judges.

Who is on RuPaul Drag Race All-Stars Season 8?

As always, RuPaul is the main judge, with Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, and Ts Madison making up the judge panel. There’s also a rotating guest judge spot that this season will include Idina Menzel, Robin Thede, JoJo Siwa, Maude Apatow, Brandon Boyd, Zooey Deschanel, Thom Filicia, Javicia Leslie, Ego Nwodim, Matt Rogers, Adam Shankman and Bowen Yang

The contestants are a good mix of past contestants for some fun excitement.

  • Alexis Michelle (Season 9)
  • Darienne Lake (Season 6)
  • Heidi N Closet S (Season 12)
  • Jaymes Mansfield (Season 9)
  • Jessica Wild (Season 2)
  • Jimbo (Canada’s Drag Race Season 1)
  • Kahanna Montrese (Season 11)
  • Kandy Muse (Season 13)
  • LaLa Ri (Season 13)
  • Mrs. Kasha Davis (Season 7)
  • Naysha Lopez (Season 8)
  • Monica Beverly Hillz (Season 5)

So far, Monica Beverly Hillz, Naysha Lopez and Kasha Davis have been eliminated. The competition remains as fierce as ever and makes this season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars one of the wildest yet for the show.
