Shows and movies being removed from Disney+ and Hulu in 2023

Unfortunately, the state of the entertainment industry is up in the air, causing most of our treasured TV shows and films to be left in a scary state of uncertainty.

Disney+ and Hulu are the most recent streaming services affected by these huge changes, as these sites are set to remove a great deal of shows and films just a few days after Disney had its earnings call earlier this month.

“We are in the process of reviewing the content on our DTC services to align with the strategic changes in our approach to content curation,” CFO Christine McCarthy told Deadline, letting us know that this move may just be the beginning.

These updates will certainly affect you, especially if you are subscribed to either of these sites. This is why we want to tell you everything we know so far about which titles are leaving Disney+ and Hulu in 2023, as well as which have been reported to stay on the site despite initially being announced otherwise.

Which shows and movies are leaving Disney+ and Hulu in 2023?

First and foremost, Howard (2018), A Spark Story (2021), Power (2023), and Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever (2023) were set to be removed from Disney+. However, this decision has since been reversed. But, sadly, this same fate cannot be said for other titles.
