Citadel: Diana is at the forefront of our minds after the glimpse we received of the series once season 1 of Citadel finished. The show promises to be just as mind blowing with its action and as twisty with its storylines.

Noticeably, no one from the spy agency we’ve come to know (and be suspicious of) was shown in the footage we’ve seen thus far. Of course, this has left many wondering just what this series will be about and how it fits into what we’ve already learned in Mason and Nadia’s story.

Does Citadel: Diana have a release date?

No. However, Amazon Studios did reveal the show’s release window. It’ll be coming to Prime Video in 2024. So we have some time before we’re returned to the world the flagship series introduced audiences to where the spy agency and Manticore are in a battle for the fate of the globe.

Is Citadel: Diana a sequel to Citadel?

No, it isn’t. The series is an Italian spin-off, the first in a planned spree of international spin-offs for the franchise. The flagship was renewed for a second season, and it’s in that sophomore run that we’ll be returned to Mason and Nadia’s story.

What is Citadel: Diana about?

The plot of the spin-off is still under wraps but potential viewers were given a glimpse at what to expect after the season 1 finale of its parent show. Presumably, Diana is the titular character and we’ll be learning about how she went from the police force to becoming a Citadel agent. The footage shown seems to capture two different periods in her life, both full of danger and high intensity action. Her story is considered to be the next chapter in this spy universe.
