Cruel Summer is a show that took us by storm when it was released back in 2021.

The smash-hit series followed the lives of two girls who were seemingly bound by fate. But when jealousy took over, there was no stopping how far the less-popular friend was willing to go to obtain the marvelous life of her friend. Despite this tale being as old as time, this teen drama series’ most unique aspect was its storytelling, as we were often transferred back and forth through time to understand both perspectives of the story.
