Stars on Mars cast: Who’s in the FOX series?

This summer gives you the perfect excuse to keep your head in the clouds as FOX’s new reality show Stars on Mars premieres on the network on June 5th. Hosted by Star Trek veteran William Shatner, who will serve as “mission control”, a group of celebrities are tasked with engaging in a mission to Mars type simulation built in Coober Pedy, an opal mining town in a remote area of Southern Australia, to experience what it’s like to be an astronaut on the planet.
Through a series of challenges that mimic what it’s like to live, eat, sleep, strategize, and bond with each other in a real space station, these celebrities will have to use what they have available to them to help outlast the competition. A participant will get eliminated by vote each week and there will only be one final “celebronaut” left standing. Sounds like a familiar concept for those Celebrity Big Brother fanatics but of course, with an intergalactic twist.
Stars on Mars is produced by Eureka Productions, a Fremantle company. Charles Wachter serves as showrunner and executive produces with Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening, and Eden Gaha.
