Have you ever watched a show and wanted to bring a character or two or maybe even three, back to life? For fans of Amazon Prime’s The Boys, we are already one step ahead of you. Rhe third season finale of The Boys, we saw the show end with a cliff-hanger. After it was announced that The Boys had been renewed for a fourth season, you can’t help but wonder who’s making a return to the show and who isn’t.

As you may or may not know, The Boys is a satirical superhero show developed by Eric Kripke and is based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The adaptation follows a team of vigilantes as they combat ‘superpowered’ individuals who abuse their powers. The Boys is also executive-produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

With the expected fourth season steadily approaching and The Boys’ spin-off Gen V already in the works, there is a lot to talk about when it comes to who we’d want to see back a return to The Boys universe and who’d we’d rather let stay within the grave. Read on to find out to see who we did put in this list!

3 The Boys characters we’d bring back from the dead

Robin Ward

Ward was the long-term girlfriend of Hughie Campbell before her untimely yet accidental death at the hands of A-Train. While she died in the first season and only appeared in four episodes, it would’ve been nice to see her continue. Also, it’s worth noting, granted, unceremoniously, she is also the first person to die in the television series.

Black Noir

Even though Black Noir was an antagonist, he seemed to be the only member of The Seven to get along with Homelander, while most of them fear or hate him. Homelander does end up killing him by shoving his hand through his chest and ripping out his organs, Though, his death symbolized the end of their relationship, According to Kripke, the decision to kill him off was one that required a bit of thought saying, “I couldn’t understand a version where he wasn’t gonna have some sort of huge reaction to Noir, who’s been lying to him his entire life about the thing Homelander needed most in the world.” It makes you wonder what the show would look like had Black Noir still been alive?

Becca Butcher

Becca is definitely a death that you can still reel from. Becca was the mother of Ryan Butcher and Homelander and Billy Butcher’s step-son. Becca, unfortunately, was killed after getting caught in the crosshairs as Ryan tries to protect her from Stormfront. That being said, after her death, it’s important to acknowledge that her presence on the show was really only for the benefit of her son, not herself.

It was almost as if we couldn’t see her as her own person which is why bringing her back in order to see her character develop would be ideal. She was also a very compassionate person and tried to raise Ryan as a normal child, unlike his father, who wanted him to be trained in order for Ryan to utilize his abilities properly.

3 The Boys characters we would NOT bring back

Supersonic

While he had a friendly demeanor, Supersonic was actually against Homelander the entire time. When Homelander finds out from A-Train that Supersonic told A-Train about his and Starlight’s plans to take him down, he ends up killing Supersonic, for good reason! Then, Homelander uses this as a threat to Starlight. Supersonic was, essentially, a pawn. His naive existence and the fact that he is easily swayed just proved that he truly is a disposable person.

Stormfront

If you’re familiar with Stormfront’s past, it’s incredibly obvious why we wouldn’t want to see her back on Earth. As a closeted Nazi, Stormfront was not opposed to showcasing her white supremacist ideologies, specifically because she took pleasure in killing anybody who was not white. Stormfront also seems to be the most insufferable characters that we’ve seen.

Blue Hawk

Similar to Stormfront, Blue Hawk is also aggressively ignorant and his death was a sight to see.  A-Train tries to make peace between Blue Hawk and the community he targeted by having Hawk put out a public apology, but he ends up getting killed by A-Train by dragging him across the pavement. It was definitely one of the more significant deaths in the show so we hope that he does not return.
