It’s hard to believe summer is almost over and back to school is here. Of course on Disney+, school has already started for some.

We won’t discuss that quite yet but if anything, queuing up some Disney+ is a nice way to relax after a long work and school week. At least everyone should be able to agree on something to watch as there are so many options.

The streaming platform caters to families of all ages and sizes along with just being something everyone can enjoy, no matter how old they are. It’s honestly ridiculous to think about just how much content the platform has and each week, more is being added.

Regardless, we’re just talking about this second week in August with these releases coming after the first week being a bit on the smaller side.

New on Disney+ week of Aug. 5-11

This past week ushered in some new addition for Disney+ and some long-awaited episodes for fans of a particular singing TV series so let’s break it down.

  • Chibi Tiny Tales Shorts, Season 3 episodes (Aug. 9)
  • Dino Ranch, Season 2 episodes (Aug. 9)
  • High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Season 4 Premiere + All Episodes (Aug. 9)
  • Barnyard Olympics (Aug. 11)
  • Donald’s Cousin Gus (Aug. 11)
  • Donald’s Nephews (Aug. 11)
  • Flying Jalopy (Aug. 11)
  • Goofy and Wilbur (Aug. 11)
  • Mickey’s Steam-Roller (Aug. 11)
  • The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Aug. 11)

All in all, it was a pretty jam-packed week for releases. Frankly, I’m shocked Disney decided to release all of Season 4 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Regardless, it does give fans something to enjoy over the weekend. There are also plenty of fun classic Disney cartoons to enjoy and ending it out is of course, The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

When it comes to August releases, things are looking up. Whether you’re a long-time subscriber or are on the fence, then I’d highly recommend doing it now.  There are so many good releases and ones that will surely end up in your queue or be part of your weekend streaming plans.
