7 new Netflix movies and shows to watch this week (August 28)

Nothing made me happier than heading to Starbucks this morning and snagging a Pumpkin Cold Brew, it’s pumpkin season folks. Like we do each and every week, we’re sharing all the new Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of Aug. 28, 2023.

Throughout the times of covering Netflix, you find hidden gems of films that I like to point out. Last week’s You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah was a gem of all gems. It had so much heart and emotion while being funny, if you missed this, take this as a sign to give it a watch.

We are eating good this week with Reality TV as we are seeing the final two episodes of season 2 of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On. Who will get engaged? Who will break up? Will anyone leave their partner for a new person? All of this plus the reunion are all in store for us this week.

Speaking of Reality TV, a new series called Is She the Wolf?  has me all sorts of intrigued. The premise follows five men and women who are searching for true love by going on dates and partaking in group projects. However, the twist is among the female participants there is an unknown number of ‘lying wolves’ that aren’t allowed to fall in love. They have one goal, don’t let anyone know they are the wolves. It sounds crazy and wild and right up my alley.
