Most people have already headed back to school and sometimes, we need a little pick-me-up which is where Disney+ comes in. After a long day at school or work, Disney+ might be exactly what you need to help you relax.

Disney+ has content for all ages added each week. I feel like most platforms don’t have such a good balance yet Disney always strikes that perfect balance so I’m always excited to see what’s being added week by week.

Regardless if you’re a new subscriber or a long-time Disney+ streamer, the releases for this week are worth a look.

New on Disney+ this week

Looking at the end of August and the start of September, Disney once again knew its audience and added some fun new additions to the platform so let’s break it down.

  • Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life season 2 episodes (August 30)
  • Kiya & Kimoja Heroes season 1 episodes (August 30)
  • Pretty Freekin Scary season 1 episodes (August 30)
  • Star Wars: Ahsoka episode 3 (August 30)

Even though September 1st is a Friday, there aren’t any new Disney+ releases to start the month so you’ll have to wait until next week. Regardless, Disney did add another new episode of Ashoka which I’m sure Star Wars fans are rejoicing about. Other than that, the rest of the releases are all geared toward kids or families.

Considering all the hype around the premiere of Ahsoka and all the love for the character, I can see why Disney decided to have a more low-key release week. Everyone will be clamoring to watch that and sometimes, you have to bribe your kids with their favorite shows. Maybe that’s just me with my nephew.

As with most months, things are slowing down and of course, they’ll ramp up as we get closer and closer to fall. With August slipping away, there’s still a lot to be excited about come the end of the year.
