The Expendables 4 is rated R for strong and bloody violence throughout the film, as well as language and sexual material, according to the Motion Picture Association. The “adrenaline-fueled adventure” sees the return of the elite mercenaries we know, with the newcomers we mentioned above joining the team. The group is usually called in as the world’s “last line of defense,” per the synopsis. They get the job done, but with the new team members bringing in their own tactics, there may be tension that starts to form within the group. But they’ll need to learn to put their differences aside to stop Suarto Rahmat, the leader of a terrorist organization smuggling nuclear weapons. This has the chance to start a fight between the U.S. and Russia.
